Researches on various risk assessment methods and components are going on though out the world. Development of such estimation procedures is essential to maintain a food standard and safety in food and beverage industry. Scientists are working throughout the world to develop techniques and methods which could improve the safety and standards of the food we are consuming. There are various tests which could detect and quantify the food additives, food adulterants and contaminants which deteriorates the food quality. Various unwanted compounds such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in seafood, trans-fats in oils and listeria in ice creams can be diagnosed.
